The ANV Z100 BB is an impressive EDC pocket knife crafted in the Czech Republic by Acta Non Verba Knives. ANV is known for producing contemporary knives, and the Z100 is a prime example. It boasts a streamlined design and is constructed from cutting-edge materials, such as the Swiss Super-LumiNova inlay in the flipper. This material illuminates in the dark and is commonly used for the dials of high-end watches.
A standout feature of the Z100 BB is the integrated ball bearing system. The blade itself forms part of the ball bearing, allowing for more balls to fit inside. This design ensures the knife opens swiftly and effortlessly.
This particular model of the Z100 is equipped with a G10 handle. G10 is a lightweight yet extremely durable material. The blade is crafted from Sleipner steel, a superior type of steel known for its excellent edge retention due to its high hardness of 60 HRC.
The spine of the blade is elegantly rounded to eliminate unnecessary sharp edges. It also includes an engraving of the phrase 'Acta Non Verba'. When opened, the blade is secured by a liner lock.
The Z100 can be conveniently carried in your pocket using the deep-carry wire pocket clip. Positioned at the end of the handle, it is held in place by the stand-off. The clip can be adjusted for left-handed use.
