The Artisan Sirius 1949P-BDRC is an elegant folding pocket knife that embodies a sleek, low-profile design, making it an ideal choice for a gentleman's knife. This exquisite piece is crafted by the renowned designer Ray Laconico.
The blade features a Drop Point style with a plain edge, crafted from black PVD-coated CPM S35VN steel. This high-end stainless steel, produced by Crucible Industries in the USA, is celebrated for its excellent edge retention, impressive toughness, and superior corrosion resistance. The knife opens with remarkable speed, thanks to the front flipper, enabling effortless one-handed operation. Alternatively, the blade can be deployed using the thumb stud. The inclusion of ceramic ball bearings ensures that the opening and closing actions are exceptionally smooth. Once the blade is open, the liner lock mechanism secures it in place, preventing any accidental closure.
The handle is constructed from burgundy red Micarta, known for its excellent grip, lightweight nature, and striking appearance. This material is a composite of fabric fibers and synthetic resin. The knife also features a black titanium tip-up pocket clip designed for right-hand carry.
