Product Description
The Böker Plus Thicker Clipper is a fixed blade knife crafted by renowned US knife designer Brent Michael Smith from Bald Man Knife & Tool. It is perfect for everyday carry and outdoor activities.
The blade features a tanto style with a plain edge, constructed from D2 tool steel, a material that has been utilized for various cutting tools since World War II. This steel is durable, easy to sharpen, and maintains its edge exceptionally well. However, it is not fully stainless, so caution should be exercised around moisture and acids. It's crucial to clean and dry the blade after use, and occasionally applying a drop of oil is beneficial.
The blade is finished with a blackwashed treatment, where it is initially coated and then tumbled. This process significantly reduces the visibility of wear and tear.
The knife boasts a full-tang design, meaning the blade extends through the entire length of the knife.
The handle is crafted from brown micarta, a composite material made from fabric and synthetic resin. This material is robust, stable, and provides excellent grip.
It is accompanied by a Kydex sheath.
