The Civivi Photonix C23081B-3 is a robust, tactical folding pocket knife with a formidable design.
The blade, featuring a Drop Point style, is crafted from Satin-finished Swedish steel 14C28N. This material is resistant to corrosion, maintains its sharpness effectively, is notably durable, and can be easily sharpened by the user.
The knife incorporates ceramic ball bearings to facilitate smooth blade deployment. It offers exceptionally rapid opening via a flipper (press the flipper tab with your index finger to deploy the blade) or a thumb stud (place your thumb on the stud and push outward while gripping the handle). Once opened, the liner lock secures the blade in place, preventing accidental closure of the pocket knife.
The handle is constructed from dark green canvas Micarta, a material known for its excellent grip, relatively light weight, and appealing appearance. It consists of fabric fibers and synthetic resin. The knife includes a built-in lanyard pin (lanyard not included) and a deep-carry pocket clip suitable for both right and left-handed carry.
