The Emperor Series swords from Cold Steel have quickly become favorites among many customers. Warrior series swords have the same powerful steel, heat treatment, and sharpness as their Emperor series counterparts, but they have omitted the expensive polished blades in favor of a more practical finish. As a result, the Warrior series is a perfect choice for training and improving techniques - Tameshigiri, without damaging or scratching the blade.
The blade is made of hardened 1060 carbon steel. The attractive handle made of hard wood is tightly wrapped with black cord and contains traditional Menuki and Same (Ray Skin) fittings. The included black lacquered Saya (scabbard) is made of hard wood. The packaging also includes a fabric cover for carrying and storing the katana.
