Product Description
Japanese swords from the Emperor series have been very popular among many Cold Steel customers since their first introduction almost five years ago. However, they are aware that there are people who want a sword ready for combat, but hope to find it at a more affordable price. The Warrior series addresses this issue directly. In an effort to reduce the price of the blades, Cold Steel has omitted the expensive mirror polishing used on their imperial swords to create a series with a more practical surface. Short tanto swords often served as secondary weapons or for fighting in small spaces.
The blade is made of hardened 1055 carbon steel. The attractive handle is made of hard wood and securely wrapped with cord, and it features traditional Menuki and Samé (Ray Skin). The included black lacquered Saya (scabbard) is made of hard wood. The packaging also includes a fabric cover for carrying and storing the sword.
