The Klarus LiR 21700, with a real capacity of 5000mAh 15A 3.6V, is based on Li-ion technology. This LiR battery boasts a sufficient discharge current of 15A, making it ideal for high-current electrical devices such as LED flashlights where maximum performance is desired. Li-ion rechargeable batteries are known for their very high capacity, lack of memory effect, and no self-discharge. LiR batteries have a much lower internal resistance than regular 3.6V Li-ion batteries. The protective electronic circuit located at the positive terminal (+) serves as protection against overcharging, short circuits, and reverse polarity. The maximum charging time for a fully depleted battery is approximately 5.5 hours (using a charging current of 1A).
