Product Description

Specialist in knives and blades Böker exclusively brings an international selection of the best knife brands from around the world. The company LionSteel was established in 1969 in the town of Maniago, where knife production is as traditional as in Solingen, Germany. It was founded by Mr. Gino Pauletta and focused primarily on contract manufacturing of knives for other manufacturers. A few years later, the company produced its first knife according to its own design, creating the brand LionSTEEL.

The name was given to the factory by a stone statue of a lion standing in front of the building, and the material from which the knives are made. In the late 1990s, three sons of the founder, John Daniel and Maximus, also became involved in the business. Currently, their products are sold not only in Europe but also in the USA. They focus on producing knives of the highest quality. The company's philosophy is to supply knives made exclusively in Italy. None of the knives or their components are made in Asia.

The Lionsteel T.R.E. Titan folding knife for men has a blade made of M390 steel with a Stonewash surface finish and a ball bearing pivot (IKBS). Opening is done using a flipper. It features a Framelock that keeps the blade securely open. The handle is made of G10 material, with a lanyard hole. It won the "Best Knife of the Year" award at the Blade Show in Atlanta in 2015.
