Specialist in knives and blades Böker exclusively brings an international selection of the best knife brands from around the world. The company LionSteel was founded in 1969 in the town of Maniago, where knife production is as traditional as in Solingen, Germany. It was founded by Mr. Gino Pauletta and was primarily focused on contract manufacturing of knives for other manufacturers. Several years later, the company produced the first type of knife according to its own design, giving rise to the LionSTEEL brand.
The factory was named after a stone statue of a lion standing in front of the building and the material from which the knives are made. In the late nineties, three sons of the founder, John Daniel and Maximus, also joined the business. Currently, the company sells its products not only in Europe but also in the USA. It focuses on producing knives of the highest quality. The company's philosophy is to deliver knives made exclusively in Italy. None of the knives or their components are made in Asia.
The professional knife Lionsteel T5 Black Stonewash has a massive handle made of black Micarta, which is milled, and the end of the handle can serve as a glass breaker. The blade is made of high-performance Niolox steel with a black Stonewash surface finish. It comes with a leather sheath. Suitable for camping, hunting, or hiking.
