Blacksmith Janne Marttiini initially produced scythes, sickles, and various working tools, but knives came later and quickly gained a wide clientele. Today's production focuses mainly on fishermen, offering a wide range of Marttiini filleting knives. Additionally, Marttiini offers hunting knives, which can also be used for hiking and are appreciated by collectors. The steel used for the blades can be stainless or carbon, and the handles are made from birch wood or various durable polymers.
