Nitecore MT06MD is an upgrade of the popular MT06 model and brings several new features that set it apart from the crowd. Nitecore replaced the cool white LED of the MT06 model with a warmer Nichia 219B bulb with lower maximum intensity (860 cd). The result is a flashlight that is ideal for tasks where details and colors are important, especially for close-up work. MT06MD now has a standard low brightness mode of 4 lumens to prevent unwanted blinding of patients with strong light or disturbance of night vision. This MT06MD flashlight has a maximum output of up to 180 lumens and offers three brightness settings that can be controlled with one hand using the rear switch with reverse click.
With a diffused beam and a high color rendering index (CRI > 90), medical professionals, nurses, and rescuers will appreciate the Nichia 219B bulb of the MT06MD model when examining pupils and diagnosing injuries. This flashlight not only captures colors more accurately but also has an RG0 rating, which eliminates the risk of blue light. However, the MT06MD model is not only intended for medical personnel. With a runtime of up to 35 hours on two easily accessible AAA batteries, the MT06MD flashlight is an excellent choice for household tasks, especially when working in limited spaces where good lighting is important.
