The Black Thorn, crafted by the skilled Ivan D. Braginets, expertly merges the dependability of a classic work knife with contemporary ergonomics and style. This full-tang fixed blade knife boasts a K110 steel blade with a flat grind, providing outstanding cutting efficiency and lasting resilience. The rounded spine features two jimping areas—midway and at the end—that enhance both control and comfort, especially during intricate tasks requiring thumb pressure.
The handle, available in either G10 or Micarta (with a titanium bolster), fully encases the tang to ensure comfort and insulation, particularly in cold conditions. Its diamond-shaped design, with a wider back tapering towards the belly, offers superior handling for precise tasks. The hook-shaped handle end ensures a secure grip during chopping tasks and allows for effortless sheath withdrawal.
