Spyderco C229GSBK Shaman G-10 Black, Black Blade
Spyderco Shaman is about 20 percent larger than the Native, making it ideal for people with larger hands and those who need or prefer a larger blade. The knife has a blade made of stainless steel CPM S30V. It is a powdered steel with high carbon and vanadium content. It has a non-reflective, black Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) coating and is serrated along the entire length of the edge, almost to the tip of the knife. It opens using a round hole on the blade, a specific feature of Spyderco knives. It is known for its easy opening with either the left or right hand. The blade scales are made of G-10 material and carefully shaped to provide a comfortable and secure grip. They are reinforced with stainless steel liners to strengthen the handle and increase durability. The knife's locking mechanism, the high-strength Compression Lock, is located on the back of the handle and can be easily operated with one hand. The pocket clip is four-position, allowing for any desired adjustment for optimal carrying. There is a lanyard hole on the handle for use with a lanyard.
