Spyderco Squeak - There are places or states where there are restrictions on blade length, as well as the type of lock and one-handed opening. The Squeak blade is held in an open position with a toothed pivot on the spine of the knife. The knife does not have a traditional lock but the Slip-joint system provides significant security, making the blade slightly harder to open and close. The blade is fully flat-ground and made of Bohler N690Co steel. This steel is highly carbonized, with the addition of cobalt to achieve a certain structure that leads to increased edge strength. Therefore, it holds better sharpness. For easier thumb opening, there is a circular hole on the blade. The handle is made of FRN (fiberglass-reinforced nylon) material, pink in color, and has a slight texture for better grip even when wet. The pocket clip is simple and two-positioned.
