Unlike a heavy-duty meat cleaver, this lighter version provides refined control and smooth cutting for more delicate culinary tasks.
The blade is forged from 67 layers of high-performance Damascus steel, featuring a Japanese AUS-10 stainless steel core and 33 layers of SUS430 stainless steel on each side. This expertly crafted structure delivers a Rockwell hardness of 60±2 HRC, offering outstanding sharpness, edge retention, and durability. The layered forging process produces a visually striking Damascus pattern, reflecting the knife’s exceptional quality and meticulous craftsmanship.
The handle is crafted from premium North American black walnut, complemented by a synthetic ox bone inlay for a refined aesthetic. Its ergonomic shape ensures a comfortable, secure grip, offering both visual appeal and lasting comfort during extended use.
