The Bunka knife XINZUO F2-CS is a distinctive Chef knife crafted in the Japanese style. It's perfect for slicing not only meat but also vegetables into the thin strips that are a hallmark of Asian cuisine. Effortlessly slice carrots, radishes, or cucumbers into strips ideal for spring rolls or sushi.
The blade is expertly forged from 67 layers of Damascus steel, featuring a 10Cr15CoMoV core. This construction provides exceptional sharpness, hardness (60±2 HRC), and edge retention. The inclusion of cobalt enhances the blade's strength and durability without compromising its flexibility. The intricate Damascus pattern is achieved by layering 33 sheets of 316/316L stainless steel on each side of the core, resulting in a breathtaking visual texture that also helps reduce food sticking during cutting. Each knife boasts a unique Damascus pattern, making it truly one-of-a-kind.
The handle is a blend of North American Desert Ironwood, a faceted black G10 ferrule, and elegant brass washers. This combination not only offers a visually striking appearance but also ensures a comfortable and well-balanced grip. The natural variations in the wood grain and color make each handle unique.
